Why the Seasons Change


Here is a cool video that tells how the seasons change.  A good addition to your 4th graders earth science curriculum.  You can do your own demonstration at home with a lamp and a globe.  Have your child hold the globe facing the lamp and twirl around.  Then have them move around the lamp while twirling.

Is It Physics or is it an Optical Illusion?

Add a little fun to your 4th Grade Physical Science Curriculum with optical illusions.  Check out the video here.  Then discuss optical illusions and have your kids come up with their own.  Optical illusions seem like fun entertainment, but in reality it can increase focus.
